What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — for example, whether you have accepted the cookie notice — so you do not have to set preferences again each time you return.
Some cookies are essential for a site to function. Others are optional and are used to understand how visitors use the site or to show relevant content.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
Always active — cannot be disabled
Required for the website to operate. Includes our cookie consent preference stored in browser local storage. No personal data is sent to external servers for these cookies.
Duration: persistent (until cleared by you)
Analytics cookies
Optional
Helps us understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the site. Data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. We may use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Duration: up to 24 months
Marketing cookies
Optional
Used to track visits for the purpose of measuring campaign effectiveness if we run advertising. We do not currently use third-party advertising networks, but this preference covers any we may add.
Duration: up to 12 months
Preference cookies
Optional
Stores optional display preferences such as language or region settings that you have chosen while visiting the site.
Duration: up to 12 months
Third-party cookies
If analytics cookies are accepted, Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. Their privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not currently use social media tracking pixels or advertising networks. If we add any in future, this policy will be updated.
Cookie duration
- Session cookies: deleted automatically when you close your browser tab.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Our consent preference is stored in browser local storage (not a cookie file) and persists until you clear your browser data.
