1. Definitions
- "Tensorloom", "we", "us", "our" — the business Tensorloom, registered in Selangor, Malaysia, operating at 18 Persiaran APEC, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor.
- "Website" — the website at tensorl.blog.
- "Course" — any programme offered by Tensorloom, including Python Foundations for Machine Learning, the Retrieval-Augmented Generation Workshop, and the Applied Deep Learning Track.
- "User", "you" — any person who visits the Website or enquires about or enrols in a Course.
- "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions and any documents incorporated by reference.
2. Acceptance of terms
By using this Website or submitting a course enrolment, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or enrol in a Course.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Website, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Services provided
Tensorloom provides online technical education in the form of live courses, workshops, and recorded materials. Each Course has a defined syllabus, stated prerequisites, and a stated scope of what is and is not covered.
Tensorloom courses are general technical education programmes. They are not regulated professional qualifications, degree programmes, or licensed professional training. Completion documents issued at the end of a Course are not academic qualifications.
Sessions are delivered online and are available to participants globally. Scheduling is set to Malaysia Time (MYT, UTC+8).
4. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed when payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation email. Places are limited by cohort cap. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute enrolment.
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet the stated prerequisites before enrolling. If you are unsure, contact us before payment. We will not issue refunds solely on the basis that a Course was more challenging than expected.
5. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when submitting enquiry forms or enrolling.
- Use course materials for your own personal learning only.
- Not share login credentials, recordings, or materials with people outside your enrolment.
- Engage with the cohort discussion channel respectfully.
- Not disrupt live sessions or post inappropriate content in course channels.
Tensorloom reserves the right to remove a learner from a Course without refund if these responsibilities are materially breached.
6. Intellectual property
Course materials, syllabi, exercises, and recordings are the intellectual property of Tensorloom. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access them for your own learning during and after the course enrolment period as stated per course.
Deliverables you create during a course — notebooks, repositories, project files — are yours. Tensorloom does not claim ownership of work you produce.
You may not redistribute, sell, or publicly republish Tensorloom course materials without written permission.
7. Payment and refunds
Course fees are stated on the solutions page and are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is accepted by bank transfer and debit/credit card. Payment is due at the time of enrolment.
Refund policy for courses:
- Cancellation more than 14 days before course start: full refund less any payment processing fees.
- Cancellation 7–14 days before course start: 50% refund.
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before start, or after course begins: no refund.
- If Tensorloom cancels a course, a full refund will be issued.
Instalment arrangements for the Applied Deep Learning Track, if agreed, are documented separately and form part of the enrolment agreement.
8. Course-specific terms
Recordings are provided for personal review during and after the course. The availability period for each course is specified in the enrolment confirmation.
Completion documents are issued upon completion of the stated course requirements. They are not academic qualifications.
Tensorloom may update syllabus content between intakes. The syllabus active at your enrolment date applies to your cohort. Material changes that significantly reduce scope after enrolment may entitle you to a partial refund — contact [email protected] if this applies.
9. Disclaimers
The Website and Courses are provided on an "as is" basis. Tensorloom makes no warranty as to uninterrupted availability of the Website or any specific course outcome for any individual learner.
We make no claims about employment, earnings, or career outcomes arising from completing a Course. What learners do with skills after a course is entirely their own matter.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tensorloom's total liability to you arising from or in connection with these Terms or any Course shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Course.
Tensorloom shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of the Website or participation in a Course.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tensorloom and its staff from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of course materials.
12. Termination
You may withdraw from a Course subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Tensorloom may terminate your access to course materials if you materially breach these Terms.
Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting [email protected]. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Malaysia, with jurisdiction in Selangor.
14. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Tensorloom.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign your enrolment or rights under these Terms without our written consent.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. For material changes, enrolled learners will be notified by email. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
